I am desperate and my husband thinks I will die on him and our daughter. Sometimes I also wonder. Forgive me for the same post in all the forums but I must.

My husband thinks we wont know what is wrong with me until after my death.

Thanks sincerely,

Fedup4doctors

Your post is incredibly sad and I wish there was something I could do for you.  I agree with Bio....you need another doctor and fast.

Do not worry what people label you as that is the least of your worries right now.  The stress you are under is not helping whatever it is that is wrong with your health.  If nothing else go to a good hospital emergency room....one that the doctor you are seeing is not associated with even if it means another town.

You need help now.

I am so sorry that you are having a hard time being diagnosed. I too went through a similuar experience with interstistial cystitis...it took almost 6 yrs. to get the correct diagnosis! It was horrible! Doctor after doctor and specialist after specialist could not find anything wrong with me...they said mybladder was "normal". I honestly thought I was going crazy. Finally, it was a general practioner who diagnosed me and now since I've moved I have the most caring doctors and I am starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel!

I guess what I'm trying to say to you is--hang in there....you are not crazy and your pain is real. Please keep looking for a doc who will maybe go one extra step in the diagnosing process and figure out what your problem is. I wish you the best and you are in my prayers....

Diagnosis is so hard sometimes. Go to www.nami.org and see if you have any Bipolar symptoms. If not they have loads of mental health information that you can benefit from. Then when you see a new doctor, you'll be prepared with questions.
Is it possible it may be treatment resistant depression? I have that, it has another fancy name but the bottom line is the SSRI drugs do not work on that so I had to be on a mood stableizer. Anyway just a place to look for help. They also have loads of clinical trials and I know someone who's in one right now so they are all over the country and the meds are free.
Best of luck.
Erin
