With my father's gallbladder, my mother's borderline diabetes, my need to lose weight and the over all need for my family to eat healthier I have began to explore other avenues of cooking.
For years I have been intrigued by the joy of cooking and coupled with my love of Japan (especially the language) I am eager to venture into the world of Japanese cooking!
Yayoi, my longest penpal and dear dear friend, was so kind to send over three authentic Japanese cookbooks for christmas this year. Of course the entirety of the books are in Japanese, and I being only an independant student of Nihongo (Japanese) , I have had my work cut out for me in translating them. But eureka!
