Gallstones - 4/15/08

Had a couple of attacks in 1 week. When 2nd one hit I went to see Family Dr. He had me get an ultrasound on my upper abdomen.  He also had me give some blood for testing.  Liver enzymes high due to gallstones. Saw a surgeon today I set up surgery for thursday afternoon. Husband still on the road. He's going to be home on Sunday. The surgeon said I should only need 1 week to recuperate and go back to work as soon as I'm off the pain meds.  Only 2 o/o require a larger incision which would require longer time in the hospital and longer recuperation.  Hope I don't fall in that percentage.

Will see and endrocrinologist on 23rd about my thyroid. Hope that he has me get more blood tests than just the T4, already got that will take results with me to appt.
