It has been more than a year (11/06) since my dx with OVCA. Today I just had my 12th consolidation chemo, all done!!!  ca125 reading is 12, will have it done again in 2 wks. I've it tested after each cycle, My goal is to get it under 10 (even through there is no relationship between low ca125 and better out come). I'll accept it as long as less than or equal to 12. Now I start to believe that my dr told me he will cure me. I keep think that how lucky I am to have so many caring drs to look after me and answer my questions.  I'll do ca125 test every monthe for next 3 monthes, then every 2 month for 6 monthes, following every 3 monthes for a year, also MRI and CT every 6 month for the next 2 yrs. Keep monitor it very closely.

Keeping qigong exercise every day, will add a bit of yoga too.
Start to hiking in the neighbourhood, maybe able to tag along to Montain whitney this summer with my hub and old daugther.  ask for a bicycle for the next bd.

On June 9th we going to Alaska Cruise with my parents (they are coming spending the summer with us)

Just very execited about what we are going to do and put every thing I've through behind!!

Hi, I remember you.  I started coming on this site back in 11/06.  I am happy for your news.  You are a very lucky girl to have such a supportive family.  Love your picture.  Your joy shows on your face.  = )

Take care,
Lori

Just read about your great news!!! Actually made me realize that I should be getting my CA125 test done monthly instead of 3 months after stopping my chemo...thanks for bringing that to my attention!!
Just to save me time researching the archives, was there anyone else here who used Abraxane?? wondering about that!!

A cruise through Alaska sounds like the right way to celebrate!!!
