i need some help so bad

Apr 17, 2008 06:03AM - 4 comments

Im currently looking for a job and im finding it really hard, i need some help.

I cant do as well as i would with looking for work because of the effect of the pain pills, i need to stop them so i can get stuck in to my job search but im not cutting down because im so low, its a catch 22 for me.

If i dont find a job soon im going to lose my home and then that will mean losing my life because i cant lose my home again.

Last time i lost my home i had to go back to my mums and that isnt easy because she has a drink problem and shes "kicks off" all the time she gets so nasty and some times even kicked me out of here place knowing that ive not really got any where else to go, altho my sister lives right near her shes got 5 kids and hasnt really got room for me.

Not just that, im 27 this year and should have a home of my own.

The best thing you can do to help yourself at this point is to get off of the pain pills! I know that you're in a vicious cycle, but stopping the pain pills will change your life forever for the better. Work is hard to find right now, have you looked into the day job labor? Most cities have it and it's where you go and work for the day and get paid at the end of that day? There's no limit on how many days you can do it so maybe it would help while you're waiting for something else to come along. Many blessings are being sent your way!!

My husband and i have lost 2 homes..1 home because my husband had a bad accident and couldn't work w/ 6 children home..and the second one was from our drug use..Pain pills..I will be 41 this year and we just finally moved out of our friends basement this past september after being there over a year. Do you have a friend that could be a room mate? the pills are not going to help you keep your home nor help you find a job..(but i already told you that)
I know it's tough..the best time to quit them is now..you can ust the next week to get through the withdrawals and get serious. You are in my prayers..xo lisa
