Diet and Exercise



This morning I walked to work, about 16 city blocks, and I'm very pleased with myself. It took me almost 50 minutes, but the weather was nice and I just strolled along. I find it very difficult to incorporate exercise into my life. I work a lot and time is a scarce resource. It was a really pleasant and easy way to sneak in some exercise...I think I'll do this more often.

Most days (but not this morning, too tired from a little time out last night) Swampy walks from his boat to the ferry -- its a little over a mile.

His special rule is that if he has walked, he might buy himself a pastry at Starbucks or on the ferry. No walk, no sugar.
