Not really grieving - he is too amusing for that.  I also married a Greek and have Ehlers-Danlos (so have been in similar pain since I was 12 - except that they knew why).  Just have a stupid Bengal cat.  Smiled when I read about the crazy Greek - hope yours cooks for you as well as mine does.

Yes he's a really good cook when the mood takes him!  Tell me, if your husand goes shopping for food does he always come back with enough to feed an army?

haha they always do, "Jahjeeki, Jahjeeki!" I lived in Thessaloniki for the start of my gap year, and they are such a brilliant culture. I lost two stone and got functioning again thanks to routine and support the family provided after a serious bout of depression. Plus my oldest friends cypriot, they are wise, hillarious individuals from my experience... Have you learnt the language, i'm just a beginner.

I live in Athens and on the island of Poros for over 7 years.  Yes I picked up the lingo to the extent that I could keep up and contribute in group conversations, and understand jokes and laugh at the same time as everyone else!  I'm a bit rusty now.  When we go over there it usually takes two weeks to start to get up to speed again.
