Urticaria Pigmentosa

My son was diagnosed with urticaria pigmentosa when he was 3 months. He has spots EVERYWHERE.  He is now 11 years old and he seems to stop getting new ones but the ones he does have still get irritated. We went to Pittsburgh Childrens Hospital for our diagnosis.  They told me by the time he was 5 they would be gone, then when he was ten they would be gone. NOPE!  My son was diagnosed w/ asthma a couple years ago. Does anyone else also have asthma w/ the U.P.?  I carry an epipen in case of a bee sting. Has anyone had a bee sting and where you allergic to it and how did the U.P. react????
