i believe in freedom of speech. i believe in helping those that need it. i also believe in telling the truth when it is needed, even when it isnt heard. i believe in saying what i think, and sometimes it isnt valued, but sometimes is has been thought hard and then i was thanked for the honesty to see what they couldnt before. i dont believe in holding the hand of someone that pinches it everytime you try. i dont believe in becoming a co-dependant to someone that cries wolf just to go back to the same behaviors. you are all free to tell me what you like, or dont like, or to make up a new discussion lol.
I agree with all the above. I have plenty to say and I'll respond more when I'm finished with the hate mail.
I can't stand it when people refuse to look at things from another perspective. Why some have to be right all the time no matter what. I believe some people just like to argue and it doesn't matter what they argue about as long as they have the last word. This forum has opened my eyes to alot of things. I can now think outside the box. I am constantly annoyed by stupidity. What do people think they are going to see if they look at a porn site, watch a beheading or an abortion video. These things come with a warning for a reason.
I really like the way you put this. I agree! A lot of the things that have been happening on this forum have really gotten me thinking. I know I don't always agree with what people say, but I still learn from others. I also feel that I am capable of appreciating another point of view regardless if I agree with it or not. I do try to anyhow.
I have thick skin, they keep pinching and I still keep coming back ;-)
But I am less of the hand-holding variety and more of the pop you upside the noggin for being an adult and still making poor decisions (IMHO, of course). I will hold the hand of a woman in need, not of a woman seeking validation for being a moron.
