For the last 2 1/2 days, I have been trying to convince a small 5 month old half wild black kitty out of my tv room.
As I was leaving the house Wednesday evening, Kitty raced in chased by Graygray cat, and before I could blink, Kitty hid behind the tv stand in the only place no one could reach him. Did I say he was small and skinny? Skinny!!
So Graygray gave up the chase and went back outside, and I spent time to talk to the wild beastie. But to no avail.
Not on thursday nor today.
Hubby came home, moved the heavy TV, frightening the already skiddish Kitty more, and then new place to hide was not people proof. So we bundled up, snatched him up and into the plastic pet carrier. He was to go to a new home, and this delay was just that. A delay. Time for Kitty to go to new home.
Maybe he knew something was up? He never tamed down well, but living in the country should suit him well.
So now I am down to three cats, or four if LeeBoy ever pops in for a visit.
One thing I learned: all cats are dif-FUR-ent.
And not all cats are social.
It was a learning experience but I won't call him Bad Kitty as dear husband does. Kitty seemed sort of half a bubble off plum, and I don't think he could help it.
Poor thing lost a bit of ear in the last two weeks, and got a scratch on his eye. He just was having too hard of a time fitting in town life. I hope the country cats are kinder.
Problem is this: I love all my cats and will miss the little fraidy cat, very much!
