Hives at EOT

Hives are driving me completely insane!  Antihistamines are not working (read on an allergy site that they should have started helping within 24 hrs).  Hives are ugly, but the all-over intense itching is unbearable.  I've read about patients who dropped out of TX because of rash and thought "Why would you stop a life-saving TX for rash?".  Now I know.  TX has been a character-building experience (really I was pretty pleased with my character before).  This 'walk a mile in my shoes' bit is getting old.  I want my old shoes back!  I'm an inveterate web surfer and wonder if it might be an autoimmune reponse from having such a ramped up immune system.  Hives started right about when I discontinued the riba & boceprevir but still had interferon in system.  Hives are also an interferon symptom.  I can't take anything that interferes with the strong immune response, like steroids.  I couldn't risk tampering with any leftover viral material.
