First iui

I had my first iui on june 11, 09 and am currently on my 2ww and going crazy.  I keep telling myself that it won't work so that I'm not so disappointed when af arrives.  At first, i thought I was the problem and wasn't ovul regularly (sorry, I'm not up on the abbrev. yet!) so after ov test after ov test showing now change in colors, i went to an ob (after 4mo of ttc) and was told to try for a couple more months since it sometimes takes 6mo to get the pill totally out of your system.  (went off the pill in sept, started ttc in october)  So a cpl months passed and i had an hsg done.  (the most awful thing I've ever had to endure so far---someone tell me they thought their uterus was going to explode too!) My hubby also had his swimmers analyzed. Which we found out were much less than perfect. Great amount, just very low motility and morphology. I passed with flying colors, and yet I was bummed, cause I wanted some answers.  So once af arrived I had my first ultrasound and had some good follicles so took letrozole days 3-7 and had my 3nd ultrasound on day 12 and had a "perfect" follicle, size 20 i believe. And 2 not so great follicles. Grrr. Np predicts I will be pg by 3rd or 4th try.  And the thought of going 4 more months is really disheartening.  Np was super psyched and I have myself the boost shot that afternoon and then on day 14 we did iui #1.  Dh sperm was much much lower this time and I was told "thank God your doing iui's".   I can't remember exactly but I believe morphology was at 14% and motility at 38%.  His count was something like 1.5mil per ml and only like 16mil post washing.  AKA, not so great.  I have my fingers crossed, but after 8mo of ttc, I have lost my optimism.
