Weight Loss

HINT:  When eating out, ask for a "to go" container when you place your order and upon being served, immediately place 1/2 your order in the container for another meal.  This not only provides you with a "healthy sized" serving, but allows you to enjoy your favorite meal the next day for lunch or dinner.  If you are tempted to overeat by saving it and eating it later, then divide it at the table and pour water on the remaining half .. you will not eat it after that!

This is a very helpful tip because most places have very large portions, which makes people overeat. There was an articule on the portion sizes 20 years ago and what it is today. The article showed the difference between a muffin which is double in size today the size of two muffins 20 years ago. Americans tend to overeat but some of it is not even our fault because everything has gotten bigger. We need to be more aware of what we eat and how much we are eating. Our food intake has to be equal to the physical output we do on a daily basis. In othe words, what you eat needs to be burned off the same day or it will sit and store in our body as fat. Thanks for the tip!!!
