Yes, I know I am going over the allotted calories I target for weight loss. It is okay because it is 'ONE' day/meal, not multiple ones. I CHOOSE to eat a "few" of those things, count them and be knowledgeable and accountable for my decisions.
One of my life-long friends, 27 years now, was visiting Des Moines and we had dinner at his favorite restaurant. I limited myself to 2 small pieces of pizza, 5 onion rings, and Italian salad and a diet pop. The foods I chose in my food journal probably represent a few more calories than I ate, but I would rather err on the side of 'counting' rather than not.
Just LOVE my food diary, weight tracker and exercise tracker. TOGETHER they tell a story ... and TOGETHER we can ALL help each other. We just have to commit to using them, being honest and putting in the work!
Best wishes to everyone!!! And, a HUGE THANK YOU to MEDHELP!
