Ooh gosh me too! I refuse to go to the facebook rehoming dog page because so many are gave away or sold because they no longer want them, moving and can't take them, blah blah blah. All I see is excuses, excuses, excuses! I'm with you..dogs have always had a special place in my heart. Well all animals actually but especially dogs. :) I have 4!! :) I'm so glad yours have such a wonderful and loving home. :) Makes my heart smile!
Thank you :) Jasmine was a sort of rescue - she was part of an accidental litter and was pound bound. I was SO adamant about NOT wanting a pitbull. Of course, within hours she was my baby and has been with me for over 3 years. Pandora was a gift from some friends that own both the male and female and just happen to have a HUGE litter. I would rescue them all if I could. Especially the pits now...they are the SWEETEST and most loyal creatures. I can't do the rehoming thing either. I understand the occasional unexpected circumstance, but for the most part, if you can't take care of a dog forever, then you shouldn't get one. I know that personally, I couldn't responsibly handle more than 2, especially since Pandora is still a crazy puppy. Planning on our next addition being human :)
