As it turns out, it was a burn from the bottom of my laptop. It got very infected and took several months to heal and left a very thick scar. What happened is that my skin got very thin and fragile during treatment, so it was easily injured. I never even knew I was being burned because my skin was so fragile that it burned at less heat than normal. It is better now, although it left a scar.
