Ouchhh and wow honey have never seen two lots of scars before, if you dont mind me asking why are there 2, just curious as all pics on here are one long wound not 2, god you poor thing, But wow by day 11 they look great.  Hope them goreous pooches are keeping you company on your recovery journey.

Yeah, imagine my surprise - dual zippers!!!  I did ask, the one on the upper right is where they harvested the graft for my dural patch.  But, if you look at Selma's pictures, her zipper looks to be as long as both of mine put together, and I think they harvested her patch from her own scalp too.

I'm not sure why they split it up.  I do have a scar above my main zipper that runs horizontally.  (From when I passed out after rhinoplasty surgery in 1981... too much internal blood loss.)  Maybe the thicker scar tissue interrupted their run up the back of my head.  You can see that scar better in a couple of my other pictures.

Yup, my pups are happy to have mommy home (as are my two-legged babies too!)

WOW Lisa...I think it is the dual set of staples that get u...ouch...I didn't have ne of those.....but u r right it is about the same size overall.

It looks like they probably shaved about the same amount of hair as they did on you too, Selma.  My mom says that between my two brothers & me - I win in the scar department.  I think I'm done playing that game now!

LOL...I know what u mean...I have  quite a few of them too...4 on my right knee and 3 on my right ankle and then my chiari zipper.....and the drs talk about more surgery....ugh....not looking forward to nemore. U look like u may have a bit more hair....not much, but a little bit more.....lol....
