Her previous "dad," told me that she was deathly afraid of going outside, which is understandable given her background.

I can see, however, in another year or two, Miss Teia out on the grass with the other three.

I can see that happening, too, Pip.  The love and patience you and Anita have given her is allowing her to slowly become her real self.  And besides, I think eventually, she won't be able to stop herself from joining her sisters on the grass.  Amazing progress with her in your master bedroom!

About 1 1/2 years after this picture was taken, we had moved to southern Maryland and Miss Teia did, in deed, go Outside for the first time (to our knowledge) since her rescue in June 1999.
