According to the radiologist, my pituitary looked fine...but a 1.3cm pineal cyst (white oval) showed up on my pineal gland, so now I know where my "obstructive" sleep apnea, terrible headaches, intracranial pressure, vision problems, and dizziness come fr

...come from. I've never even heard of the pineal gland, but it's apparently part of the endocrine system and it modulates wakefulness/sleep. 80% of these cysts are < 1cm and it's difficult to determine if it's benign or malignant. Oh boy.....

Uhhhh so I don't think the oval object in the bottom left of this picture is the actual pineal cyst.....I think the pineal cyst would be right in the center of the picture, but almost isn't visible in this slice.....

My GP saw this image today & was repulsed. She said the oval object showing up on the pictures is a sinus & that something "nasty" is on it. She kept the disk of my MRI images bc she wanted to see them & recommended I get to a neuro sooner than Sept. 30th
