She is definitely a real ham.  :-)  I took the three pictures within just a couple of minutes this evening, so I knew she was definitely hamming it up.

Somehow I missed your new photos.  Bed looks well used; Akira must love it.  Jade will NOT sleep in the bed I got her, she wants to sleep on MY bed.  All the fur stresses me, but I love her, so I let her. :)

Can you believe I bought this thing at a thrift store that was already used?  It didn't look like it was used a lot, and it did say it was actually a dog bed, so I took a chance and bought it for Akira, because it seemed like something she would use.  It really is that color.  Guess what?  She loves this little bed and she is in it right now, too.

I missed this when you posted but I did the same thing.  I got a dog bed from the goodwill thinking that they would never use it but I would try.  Lucy LOVES it.  She has peed in it twice now and won't sleep in it until it sits for several months.  I should toss the pillow into the washer but keep thinking it's her own fault.  :)

Gladly my lady is well mannered - now she decided that my corner in the living room is better than her bed and sleeps there.No pee or poo in bed  - I just cannot lie there anymore .
When I do ( I wait till she wakes up...) I always got a back aching later, since she moves the pillows for her favorite position...

Her bed is one of those T-Shirt Diy Bed you can do easily.Cats love those and they are almost free...
