She looks so calm and laid back. Is she? You're lucky. Where did you get her? From a breeder or rescue place?

She is very calm and laid back, except when she wants to play !! lol She can play pretty rough, but then again, so can I !! Cassy is a very polite dog and almost never barks for want of anything. For Instance, she will be outside and will desire to come in. Instead of barking to let me know, she will just sit there and wait till I come around. At the most she may give a slight whine and then sit and wait again !! Such a proper and polite girl !! But if she senses deer, bear, coyote, or people in the area for that matter, she will sound of as if she was a Big, Mean Dog that means business !! lol !! What A faker, but it works and she knows it !! Ha Ha !! A dog in town had some pups and I was told that I should go get one as they were free. I said, "Who me, nah..I don't need a dog". A week later I found myself looking at what was left of the litter. All of them were males and just when I was ready to go home I noticed a shy pup all by its self. I walked over, picked her up, saw that she was a she and looked into her face. I fell for her in that instant. I never thought I would have a dog, as I was always to busy paying attention to myself to bother. I could tell that she was going to require a lot of love by her disposition, and it just so happened that at that time in my life, I needed to love something. I was so full of hate that I thought "Well, Here's a chance to love again. The rest is history as they say! Thanks for asking April and letting me relay how I met my friend !! .......... BURR P.

lol, I hope they are happy tears mon che'rie !! How can a dog , save a man who's bitterness and hate was eating him alive? I still don't know, but it is true, she gave me the love to conquer the hate that had lived in my heart and was destroying me. I think back on the details that brought me to the litter that day, and it is as if I was guided there. Yes, I believe in Angels, they can be a man or a woman, a being of light or just a puppy hiding by a barn....waiting for you to come to them . BURR P.

What a beautiful girl..I wish I had a dog like her. I have a German Rottweiler named Sasha..she is awesome..but I have always wanted a Golden Retreiver.

Ha Ha !! You were right twice Bummedoutinmichigan !! lol Cassy's mom was a Chocolate Lab and was sired by a Golden Retriever !! See the lump on her head and a partial fan on her hind legs ? Those and her color are all daddy !! lol Mom gave her a bit shorter hair than a Golden, The white paws, her broad chest and her rippling muscles. quite the mix, and I have heard that they are much sought after and breed purposely. I have seen them in the paper for $350 to $400. I was lucky Indeed to get her for free. Well, not mentioning the vet bills that is !! lol!
