Unfortunately we just lost the big guy this weekend due to kidney complications. I'm going to leave this picture up for a bit in memoriam but I may take it down.
He was a great cat, and he'll be sorely missed. He was built like a solid back alley brawler but he was the epitome of gentleness and dignity.
Thanks to all. I appreciate you taking the time to take a look at him and comment. I wish the picture did him justice, as he was a classic tuxedo who would have been worthy of being a show cat in that class (if not for his missing back toe!).
He had the unfortunate habit of hiding when he wasn't feeling well and it's very easy to go a whole day before realizing he isn't about when you're dealing with 7 other cats as well. We used to make a habit of checking in on him after the toe incident but years had passed without any signs of any illness so we got lax about it.
He was a very considerate animal of others, which is very rare in a cat.
TF is a very good looking boy. My favorite kitty growing up was a tuxedo kitty and I tried to talk my mom into getting him into the cat show. She entered 2 of our other kitties. Guess what...........a tuxedo cat had won best in show. My mom got some major "I told ya so's" for a week!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
Tuxedo kitty's are awesome. They are sooooo shiny! =)
