Great cat tree!!!  I know it's just the lighting, but everything matches...tree, Hunter and harness all look mauve.  I can't get over that unique mark on his back either.  Very cool.

Yep.  It's the lighting.  Well, partly, anyway.  And, partly the cheesy cheap digital camera I have.  It's what I can afford.  The tree is actually beige.  I got a great deal on the tree that I couldn't pass up on.  But, so is the floor.  And, of course, Mr. Hunter is a much prettier brown and gray on white than the camera shows.  His cat harness is actually black and white "tiger" stripes.  I got his leash before I got his harness.  His leash doesn't match, but it's pretty cute, too.  His leash is four foot long and is red with tiny paw prints all over it.  All the neighbors think Hunter is pretty cute when he is out walking on his leash and harness.  He begs to go out on his walks.  I want him to be able to go, because it's a great way for him to safely get his exercise.  Someone just today commented that he wasn't sure who was luckier...me or the cat, because we clearly belong together.  Cats know.  I don't know how they sense it, but they know who the right people are for them.

They certainly do, FM, I'm a firm believer in that.  Thanks for all the description of how everything 'really' is. lol   I'm so happy Hunter came into your life when he did.  After Akira's passing, you NEEDED another kitty to both give and receive love.  Keep being the excellent kitty mom you are, and keep the new pics coming!!!
