I am now post 13 days EOT and I feel great. I still have wobbly knees after about three blocks of walking along with short winded. But I am gaining strength back at an incredible rate. I can really taste food in an awesome way.

As of today I finished a 12 week trial treatment by Vertex. Today, since I was RVR at week 4, they pronounced me End Of Treatment. If the numbers on my PCRs had not added up Vertex would have kept me on another 12 weeks of SOC. So, they said there was no need for me to continue and now I play the waiting game for six months to see if I maintain and make SVR.
In order to be honest and up front I told my employer about my issues, but I have a good solid relationship that goes both ways. I would not have told them if I was not comfortable and positive that it would not effect my employment. There should be quite a few people coming to the end of week 12 and that is when Vertex releases the lab data since it was blinded up to week 12.
