I would be concerned and I'm sure your Dr. was. At 6w1d my baby had a hb of 89. He pulled through and is 6 months now. It either just started beating, or unfortunately is not going to be a viable pregnancy. I'm sure your dr. is having you come back in a week, best of luck to you.
My dd's was always around 150- 156 and ds always around 144-150. 180+ seems high..
My dd does not have one, my DS popped one up above his left boob when he was 2 months. It's funny, I was talking about them w/my sister just today. Her dd has one on her back. I was telling her how many I see these days that it's weird. I think I agree, just luck of the draw.
