Hi, thank you for you answer ( and on my other question :) ) When I get the very intense sharp, stabbing pain that come on all of a sudden, I always fear that it is the cyst/mass rupturing. The pain can last anywhere form 5 seconds to half an hour, usually when it is lasting a long time, by the time I think it's time to go to the hospital, it subsides en...

Hi. The last ultrasound I had 2 weeks ago, the mass was 6.18 x 4.28 cm and still complex. It had grown 2 cm in 2 weeks! I am booked for surgery on the 14th of July. The plan is to do a laparoscopy to see exactly what is going on, if it is not ovarian and related to the bowel, then they will stop there and I will have to see another doctor. If it is ovarian, I...

When I had my first ultrasound, I was diagnosed with a left adnexa mass. Possibly a complex corpus luteum or endometrioma. I have since had further ultrasound and have seen a Gyno. The Gyno feels that it is either of these and isn't even 100% sure that it is ovarian. It is at the moment just a 'mass'. My question is, in the first ultrasound, th...

I would like if you will always have vaginal bleeding when a cyst ruptures? Also can cysts leak? Meaning can they slowing release fluid and/or blood, whatever is inside them or would they more likely just 'burst' and spill out all their contents? I would like to hear from anyone who has experienced a ruptures ovary cyst and your story and symptoms ...

Yes, I feel a bit better knowing more about what is going on. I'm pretty sure I will have surgery to remove at least the Endometrioma, if the corpus luteum is still there and'or bigger I assume they will removes that as well. I can't have a laparoscopy because of my scar tissue from previous surgery's so they will have to do a laparotomy. ...

My doctor rang me this afternoon as he had just received my ultrasound scans from today and wanted to check that I had my Gyno appointment soon. He also wanted to see how I was pain wise and if I needed anything for it, God bless him!. The ultrasound tech said he thought the cyst on the left maybe inside the ovary but the doctor thinks it maybe on top of the ...

Had another ultrasound today, both external and internal. The ultrasound tech said he thinks the mass is actually inside my left ovary, it is still complex and has grown almost a cm bigger than 4 weeks ago. It is also an irregular shape. I also have a cyst on the right ovary that may be just a functional corpus luteum, it was not there on the last ultrasound. ...

Hi, I had a 4cm complex mass found in the left adnexa 3 weeks ago and am having another ultrasound tomorrow and then see a Gyno next week. I will be asking the doctor and Gyno this but never really thought about it until the other day, so would like to see on here if anyone has any insight. The doctor told me that the mass isn't inside or attached to the...

Hi, sorry, your post wasn't there when I wrote mine :) My doctor said I could wait 4-6 weeks and have another look or see a Gyno. I opted for seeing a Gyno as I have been through this before and know that being complex can be more reason for concern. I wasn't happy with the Gyno I had been seeing so he wrote a referral for a new one but I couldn...
