Well, you should really get a complete physical. Possibly the migrane headaches and bloody nose might point to high blood pressure and salt intake might be the cause of the swelling of of hands and ankles. But I am just guessing. You have a good diet and exercise program and if high blood pressure is the problem the doctor will be able to help you with that...

Your welcome. I am so sorry to hear that your mother got Hep B from them reusing implements! What a world, sickening. You said "they say I don't have Hep A,B or C, but that you really wonder....I am a little confused,,,,,are they just assuming you don't have it without testing? I know that sounds like a stupid question, but my doc at the time 'assume...

The anemia alone would be good reason for your mom not to be feeling good. The cyst on the liver might not be anything. So many people are so surprised to find out that they have cysts on organs when they get a scan, but of course it is still something that needs to be checked out, but many times it is nothing. you won't know until he gives you a blood test. Make sure he does test for Hep A, B and C.....I feel like I keep singing the same song, but those of us (such as myself) that have hepc are very much aware that many doctors don't think of checking people for hepatitus even though there is an hepatitus c epidemic. These numbers you listed may not necessarily me...

Because you have an increase in enzymes, I would ask the doctor to do a liver panel to check for Hep A. B and C....You may not have this, but you would want to rule this out. I have hep C and my enzymes were raised which is the reason why I asked for the test. Many doctors for some reason don't think to test someone for hepatitus when the enzymes are eleva...
