Tricor is used to lower Tri's and raise HDL (good cholesterol). The Niasapan is also used to increase HDL. Most of the time, a doctor will not prescribe a statin in addition to Tricor. Yes, it is a know fact that cold weather can cause your blood pressure to rise. It's very common. My blood pressure is controlled very well, but I too see an increase from 100 - 105/65 to about 110/70 when it gets cold. Hope this helps. Jon

ireneo is correct, if you have not had an echo done you should as you need to know if your heart is normal structurally. In all but a very, very rare occasion, PVC's with a normal heart structure is nothing to worry about. I too have heard of people having tens of thousands a day without any issue.
