My urine had that brown-ish look to it for the first few weeks. I've always been a great H2O drinker prior to tx. Doc confirmed that it is red blood cells sloughing off caused by the Interferon.

Its the pharmacuticals lobbying in DC holding a knife to the throat of our congress members, padding their already heavy pokets, keeping America from being the best in the ENTIRE world. If we want to be 'Big Brother' to the world shouldn't WE lead by the example? So glad FRONTLINE did this story.

I am tx'ing now and I won't STOP bleeding! The docs do a pregnancy test with each visit.. (even tho my hubby is away training since Dec.) Every time I think my period is going to finally stop it is time for another injection. ARGHHH! From all I read on here that was the ONE thing I was looking forward to not dealing with while tx'ing. I am 42.

DRinking lots of water is key. I had horrible heartburn for the first time EVER in my life the second and third week of tx. I bought some TUMS and they helped. Taking the Riba w/ fat has helped me alot. I used to drink club soda w/ lime (it's my alternative drink since no wine) in the evenings and I found that it made my stomach burn. So I pretty much drink j...
