if she doesn't have a mass she still could have a problem peritonal Cancer is a form of ovarian but because in line the peritonel it is very difficult to diagnose. It has all the same symptoms of ovarian cancer. Please stay on top of this good luck

I am so sorry for your lost. You and her whole family will be in my prayers. I am involved with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. There mission is to educate woman to the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer. yes to all your questions just your chances go down dramatically I am brca 1 had ovarian cancer and now having double mastectomies but will have a 5% chance of breasst not an 87%. but will still be monitored good luck

I too have a reaction and do not take the dye. It can develope by overuse. I am also no allergic to shellfish not sure but there might be a connection because of the iodine in both. I would be careful and if necessary I agree with Jane you need meds before during and often after good luck lalurel
