Thanks everyone. I haven't given up. I truly believe that a positive attitude is important and that there will be a new treatment someday. All the support and information I have received from all of you was so important. Hugs to you all.
I did have an HGB issue and on procrit in Dec. My HGB came back up, but had issues with skin problems, and low platelets. This was not the reason i stopped at 36 weeks. There were others in the office that have stopped at 36 weeks with SVR. I took the gamble, and lost...
Finished triple therapy (Incevik ) on July 4th. Received a call today that I have relapsed, viral load is 2 million. What a let down. My hair has jjust stopped falling out....my brain fog was lifting.....and I actually feel good. My insurance runs out in October......
Anyone know any new treatments for Geno1a with better odds?
Thanks for your post. While I didn't get bald spots, my hair thinned a lot, and continue to break off. I will need to try biotin. I now sport a very short spikes look, vs my old style. Have to admit it is a lot easier to style, or lack of style :)
All went great. Continue SVR. My other blood counts are getting better, since finishing treatment. I will have blood drawn next month, but I don't need to see the doctor for 3 months. My brain fog is getting better, and I am now able to enjoy the San Diego sun. Only issue is joint pain in lower extremities, which hopefully will pass.
My blood work is undetectable. YAY. I am starting to feel more energy, but there are still times I crash. This will get better. Notice an increase in hip pain. I need to start stretching and get my butt back to the gym. I see the doctor this coming Monday. Msure it will be a great visit.
