"There are studies that indicate those who clear by wk 4 can shorten treatment duration and have the same odds of achieving SVR." This is only true for geno 1 if you have a low baseline viral load, at least below 600'000 IU/ml, preferably below 400'000 IU/ml.

I remember drofi talked to the famous German doctor Thomas Berg in person. Drofi was undetectable at week 26. He asked Berg about extending past 72 weeks and Berg supported it.
