Very happy MedHelp has added this community. I posted this a few months back as a journal, but figured it's be a good way to start the community off. I was diagnosed with Skin Cancer on my right arm when I was 32. I had skin graft surgery to remove this and have not had another instance since. I was lucky. I want to write this so maybe one other person...

I'd get it checked. I had the same thing. A mole that I'd had for ever. Didn't hurt but was raised a bit. It turned out I was positive, but because I got it checked, I was able to get it removed before it spread and have been cancer free for 3 years now. Both of our kids loved the "Baby Bee Bee Bird". Also, for older kids, like 2+, I absolutely love this book "Lost & Found" by Oliver Jeffers. He's an English writer, so a little tough to find over here, but the book is very well done. http://www.amazon.com/Lost-Found-Oliver-Jeffers/dp/0399245030

Hi, Thanks for the info. Just got back from the vet and she is almost positive it's not broken, just badly bruised which is great. Hopefully should be back to normal in a week or so. She's clearly not a cat the way she landed, but glad all is well. poe
