If there are no emergency reasons (ie: decels in heartbeat, baby too large and got stuck, placenta ruptured, bp out of control etc) then you can always refuse a c-section. They used to routinely give enemas here in the states but don't do so much anymore. Yes, when you are pushing many women will have a bowel movement. I agree that if she is going to have sex she will do it regardless and it's better to protect her than to let her go without. She not only needs birth control but condoms to keep as well. She also needs to fully educated on intercourse, her cycle, how effective the diff. types of birth control are and the diseases that are out there and what they can do. J...

For those of you who haven't seen them...I FINALLY got around to putting up pics of Gabe. He's such a good baby. At his doc appt last friday he was up to 11 lbs 3 oz!!

YOUR weight has nothing to do with the size of the baby you will have. You could be 200 lbs and have a 5 lb baby or be 120 lbs and have a 12 lb baby.
