Sorry to hear that it didn't work this month. :o( I'm in the same boat - taking a break til I lose some of this PCOS weight. My ovaries are BEYOND ****! :o) They had other plans for me on my "break"... bastards! We will certainly miss you... but I can say after being in your shoes about 3 months ago, I've been on this forum a lot more than I expecte...

I don't understand how a fibroid and adenomyosis could look similar. I don't know too much about either - but I was diagnosed with adenomyosis (in addition to endometriosis) during my lap. Apparently my uterus was enlarged and they took some biopsies and confirmed that there was endometrial tissue growing in the muscular wall of my uterus. So if you had a ...

Thank you all for your responses! It's very difficult to find anyone with this problem so I appreciate your input! Did any of you who were diagnosed have a cystoscopy? I've read that's how they can tell whether it's interstitial cystitis or endo. Or did all of you get dx'd when you had a lap? Romnie - I hope your lap goes well! best of luck to you! ...

helen - thanks for the reminder! You're right! Dammit! Uh, I also got pregnant after my VERY FIRST (and only) IUI after my lap - just didn't stick... jerky! Many women who don't even have fertility issues lose their first pregnancies that early. And I think the only reason the IVF that I did next didn't work was because I got an infection with a fever...

thanks - I have been on metformin for over two years now, I just wasn't on it back in my early 20's when I was previously taking the pill, because I wasn't even diagnosed then. Back then, even without knowing about PCOS or taking metformin, I was fine. I take the extended release form called Glumetza - 2000mg/day thanks though
