I am currently on it myself...the first 2-3 weeks can be harsh, as SSRIs are adjusting your seratonin levels, and in some people it can actually increase your anxiety at first...but if you stick with it, it could really help you. I am currently on 20mgs, but 40 mgs was really where the drug started helping me.
Are you on meds? In therapy? Do you have any other issues that might be the cause? Health? Stress factors?
There are natural supplements, exercise, meditation, yoga, etc that can help control these attacks...how do you deal right now>?
Here's how my anxiety works: I start THINKING about how basically I can't stop thinking...it started because I was afraid if I thought about anxiety I would start to have more attacks...and then it just became an endless loop...I don't even worry about attacks anymore, it's just that I fear that I will not be able to stop thinking one thou...
When my anxiety first manifested, I felt like my throat was closing all the time, or that I had something lodged in my throat. I also had pain in my back and behind my eyes...all of which went away when my anxiety did.
Have you been to an MD? Are you on any meds for anxiety?
What kind of delusions are you suffering from? Are you on any other medications? I do not think what you are experiencing is a side effect of the Celexa....although I am not an MD, I have taken Celexa myself and read thuroughly on the known side effects. I would talk to a doctor immediately.

I want to start weaning off of them soon, as the last time I lost my med insurance (and job) and h...
I am in the exact same boat, but my new job starts tomorrow...AND it's gonne be 12 hours days for the first 2 weeks. I am trying to stay positive...tell myself it's a new opportunity, it's a better situation for me, more money etc....and most importantly, I tell myself that everything that I am going through is making me stronger, including the...
It's nice to know someone else has gone through this...sorry to hear that you are dealing with it again...just like you, I had a few years of no anxiety at all...and now to be back feeling the way I was is super frustrating...but at least the knowledge that I have been through it once already and have seen the other side is reassuring...and I will have t...
Yes, I have high hopes that CBT will be of great help. This constant "anxiety anxiety anxiety" loop in my head is a huge inconvenience...my wife and I are expecting our first child in October, and I want to be there for my wife.
