busy in school and dealing with a cyst on her ovary
About Me:
Female, 29, Conover - NC, member since Jun 2007
I had a right salpingo oopherectomy through laparotomy for immature teratoma stage 3A, grade 2 in Oct. 2005 at age 26, just 3 1/2 months post-partum. I had a laproscopic cystectomy of benign serous cyst and 4 spots of mature teratomas (also benign) in March 2007. Also h...
[More]ad a LEAP for high-grade cervical lesion (not cancer, but close, I'm told) in Oct. 2006. Also had multiple cysts that dissolved on their own.
I am happily married and absolutely love being a mom. I have a bachelor's degree in music (I double-majored in vocal performance and in church music), but I worked in the office of a furniture manufacturer for 3 years and was laid off because of business going to China. She ordered a tv ultrasound and it showed a small, ...
I had that surgery also at age 26 and was not back at work for 4 weeks. I had cancer, though, and was dealing with the emotional/mental side of receiving that diagnosis as well as getting 2nd opinions on treatment and deciding what to do. I, too, still have one ovary. I have not had any more children since the surgery, but I'm told that when I'm ready, that I...
I know that I don't post as much as I used to, but I have been checking this forum at least a couple of times a week lately. I hate to hear when someone has some not-so-good news to share, and I pray for many of you daily. I know that I haven't had to deal with as much as many have in this group, but dealing with OVCA has still been a difficult for me, and I ...
