This does not sound like herpes. It does sound like a pimple or blocked follicle that you've perhaps aggravated by playing with. I suggest you leave it alone, apply bacitracin or neosporin ointment twice a day (non-prescription), and show it to your doctor in a month if it's still there. Best. Dr. Rockoff

No harm done. What you squeezed was probably a cyst, which is common (and normal) on the penis, and has white stuff inside that looks like pus. I advise you to not worry and leave the area alone, and show it to a doctor next time you go, for confirmation. Take care. Dr. Rockoff

Herpes 2 doesn't come out slowly--it just comes out, and appears as a group of blisters. if you caught it recently, you'd have fever and swollen glands too. So I don't think you have it. I suggest you leave the penis alone and show the rash to a doctor in person, so you'll know. Thanks. Dr. Rockoff

You are right about waiting another month to take another herpes test, but the rash you describe doesn't sound like herpes. If it came on the thighs, that's probably chafing or irritation. In any case, you'll need to show it to a doctor in person to know for sure. Try taking a photo along in case the rash isn't visible enough when you go. Best. Dr. R...

I agree with your promary care physician--if you keep examining an area as sensitive as your penis it will burn, and if you keep worrying about it it will hurt. Time to stop both. Best. Dr. Rockoff

No, it still does not sound like an STD. I continue to think that you are examining your penis with excessive care. You should direct any further questions of this sort to a doctor in person, who alone will be able to answer them properly. Dr. Rockoff

These don't sound like anything at all. You had an incident that caused you to worry, and then you started looking at your penis and noticing things that mean nothing. You've already spent way too much time worrying about this. Please see a dermatologist, confirm that you have nothing wrong, and then if you're still anxious, consider counseling to help you...

No, not for certain. That's why your dermatologist wants to do a biopsy. This is appropriate, and the only way to be sure. If it's a basal cell, it will need to be treated anyway, but if it's an atypical mole (or a melanoma), it will need to be treated differently. That's the reason for doing the biopsy. Take care. I don't think these new symptoms are any more likely to be STD's than the old ones. I think irritation is much more likely. I advise you to leave the penis alone and show these spots to your doctor when you return, if they're still visible. Thanks. Dr. Rockoff

Your description does not sound like any disease at all, sexual or otherwise. It sounds to me as though you are looking much too hard at your penis and over-interpreting lots of minor skin changes that mean nothing. Please see a skin specialist in person, and if you find that there's nothing worng with you, accept it and move on. Best. Dr. Rockoff
