Have had recurring bladder infections since my 20's. The last 10 years less often. Have had complete hysteroctomey and have Diabetes and IBS & Fibro. Recently, have had urination abt 2-3 times a night. Abt. 5 min after urinating, will have an aching start at sides of my back, sometimes spine in that area also hurts. I have this also with IBS and even prior when i had menstrual periods, tho I always considered it then to be hormone related. I do not cramp that long, but just finished a bout with cramping for abt an hr. I would have a bm and then start cramping again, and then repeat the procedure. Have never used a bowel cleanse as recommended above but it sounds like it ...

This is the same thing I have with IBS but at other times have small pellet like BM with a few larger. Think its all a part of the problem. I seem to become constipated vy easily and am now on stool softener which helps, or Prune Juice may do the trick , both work for me. PJ

You might look into this befor taking Cymbalta, or at least ask your Dr abt. it. I recently read, not sure where, just the other day ---- one of the newly found side effects of Cymbalta is urine retention. I don't know details but this info had just come out. PJ

Has anyone else had symptoms of bladder infection that when tested shows no bacteria, only to find or be told this can be a part of Fibro but mimics Bladder infection?
