I think as long as you are not expecting to be pregnant in the next few years that it would be fine to have an evaluation for laser vision correction. Usual the changes that occur with pregnancy are only temporary so that should also be reassuring for you. MJK MD

Actually, I thought that you have better vision than I would have expected after having all these problems, especially traumatic mydriasis, retinal detachment, extreme glaucoma, silicone eye and several years of multiple surgeries. Very common question. Please see your own personal physician to discuss these spots. It may very well be normal, natural varations in the pigmentation of the sclera, but each case needs to be evaluated in person. MJK MD
