I keep hearing this "white multi focalmatter disease" quite a bitfrom our doctor. This shows up on the mri (both). What exactly is this and how serious is it and also what illnesses are associated with it. My husband is only 49 and his neurologist says because of his age he can't be diagnosed with dementia.
