I use the cradle hold with a boppy pillow. My 5 month old is a bigger baby too, and particular . . . does not like my arm under for support and prefers to lay comfortably on the boppy pillow while nursing. I use another pillow underneath the boppy pillow on the end to make sure there is a slight declining angle. Use whatever works best for both you and baby.
I wish my tastebuds would change so I could have oatmeal. A nice warm and seemingly tasty option, however I've tried several times and I just can't eat it yet. Maybe someday.
My baby is 5 months and still likes to be held and rocked to sleep. We have to wait until baby is truly tired though, otherwise it's a struggle. My other two children eventually grew themselves out of needing to be rocked to sleep and starting falling asleep on their own in their crib. I don't quite remember what age they started doing that though.
Kennedydp5, I know what you mean. Trying to eat healthy while being a busy mom, taking care of the family, breastfeeding, and working almost full time is quite the challenge. At least we do our best when we can. :-)
