I keep feeling and hearing my heart beat in my neck and right ear why and is this a sign of upcoming danger to me, what should I do ,or is it even anything to worry about?

for the last month I have been feeling my heart beat strongly in my upper neck area. when I lay on my right side I hear it in my right ear, is this a dangerous sign? do I need to go to the Dr?
