AMH results

I am 40 years old and my husband and I have been TTC for over 4 years. I have gotten pregnant 3 times all ending is miscarrage in the first 8 weeks. Recently I went to an RE and she did many tests one of which was AMH, she called me today and said the results were 0.7 and that she wouldn't ever recommend IVF that we needed to go directly to IVF with egg don...
Is anyone famliar with AMH?

Thank you, anything you find out I would really appreciate, the RE just seemed so final. I have also read that women with levels as low as mine have conceived. Maybe I just need to realize this isn't going to happen.

I went to an RE last week and she ran a bunch of blood test and other various test, everything came back fine except the AMH test which was 0.7 and I guess that is extremely low because she said at this point our only option would be donor eggs. I just totally didn't expect this and am completely devastated, we really can't afford to go this route. I have l...

It's a big rollercoaster. I think anybody who has not gone though this cannot understand the emotions and extreme frustration that we go though. Even dh, as much as he tries, really doesn't seem to understand how depressing it can be everytime you get a BFN.
