Well, I have IBS as well as PCOS and Hypothyroidism and I have to say, what you're describing is exactly how I get when the IBS acts up.

I think you should be ok. From what I heard, it's not getting the thyroid issue taken care of at all that puts the baby at more risk. I think the possible complications are lower once you start taking the medication and get back to normal levels. Of course, I'm not a doctor but I do read A LOT of medical stuff. LOL. I skipped the coffee this morning and I don't feel nearly as bad as I did, however, I do still feel a little revved up. Thank you for your help! It must be the pills doing it as far as the caffeine goes. I've always had one cup in the morning and caffeine has never affected me. I'm the kind of person who could down a Mountain Dew and go right to bed!
