Cumulative Chemo

i found that the chemo was more cumulative...i had six rounds and they seemed to escalate in ''badness'' the further along i went. i also had taxotere, cytoxine and adrymiocin.... you can do it....i say this with lots of love....suck it up and take your medicine like a big girl!! xo, darcy

my port never stopped aching..3 days after he put it in, i went into the office crying for him to take it out...he didnt....he told me to rub aspircream on it...that helped some, but the weird iccky feeling never went away....i wouldnt say you get used to it...but it is better after the first week or so.... just think of it as, one more thing done, one les...

i wonder why some have to have radiation when they have had a mastectomy and why some dont....wonder what the rule of thumb is, if there is one.....???????

no i didnt have radiation....i was told that since i was having the mastectomy (hence the boob going bye bye) that i didnt need it....so, i dont glow in the dark like some of you!! hehehe..... a girlfriend of mine had a lumpectomy, chemo and radiation (and personally i think that she should have had a mastectomy...her tumor was 5cm with 2 lymph nodes invo...

hmm...ive finally JUST lost all of the weight that i gained from chemo....i gained 19 whopping lbs....ive always been super thing too...110 since high school...so that really freaked me out....im down to 113...and i did it by drinking green tea (home brewed), it took about a month for it to kick in, but i swear its working (although my trainer says its becaus...
