Hi, I'm Sorry to hear of your concerns. There are a couple of things worth considering. Firstly, do you suffer with migraines and also look up PFO or Patent Foramen Ovale as this may also be a relevant factor. You dont need to be old to have problems of this sort, I also have low cholesetrol and ok blood pressure, yet I had an Ischemic stroke november 07...

I had a stroke which was blamed on a migraine, the MRI should give you the answers, just stay positive watever the outcome, positive thinking and the belief that you will get better is the best advice I would suggest, good luck x
How likely would it be for my stroke to have been caused by a PFO

Ive been told I have a PFO, but i dont have any reason that I would have had a stroke, or a clot of any kind, so what are the chances of this causing my stroke. I now take asprin and dypridamole to thin blood and i have low cholestrol (3.7) and my blood pressure is now low as the doctors insist that I need to take tablets for it just in case. hi there I had a stroke at the begining of november and I have times when i itch on my weak side. i wondered or rather, hoped it was due to things repairing or it may be nueropathic in the same way i get pain in my left arm for no particular reason, would be interested if your post gets any definate answers

hi there, i didnt have any probs such as high blood pressure or high cholestrol I have never been a big drinker but want to kno if i go out socially that it is ok to drink the doctors stil have not given me a definative reason why i had the stroke but possibly caused by a migraine
