IEE = Independent Educational Evaluation. Parents have a right to an IEE at the scoiol districts expense if they disagree with the M-team evaluation. Do it in writing and go for it.

There was some stuff about Secetin treatments for autism. This is normally for persons with Celiac Sprue. But some say it helps persons with autism. I think Dr Bernard Rimland (vitamin B-12 treatments) mentions secretin. Temple Grandin mentions two types of autism: the regressive/epileptic type and the Kanner/Asperger type. Once the IEP gets hammered out, spotcheck to see if the teachers have the copy and have read it. Also do a"pop quiz" on some goals and progress thereof from time to time. I think we are on the right track as to the goals, the phrasing can be decided at the meeting. Thats why we have meetings. to get the best minds together and hammer out the details. As long as you see that the goals are SMART: Specific, Measurable Atainable and have a Time table, you're good to go. I just want to re-iterate the need for specific Present ...
