If your brother is a carrier of Staphylococcus aureus (bacterium which causes folliculitis), then he easily transmites bacteria to you by clothes. Mild folliculitis may go away witout any treatment, but you should consider to wear more airy clothes. Tight jeans may irritate your skin - this is a common cause of folliculitis.
