She should rest it as much as possible. Put it up on a pillow to keep the blood flow going. She may need physical therapy to strength her ankle.

In a heart beat. I had Gastic Bypass in 1981 and went from 317 to 170. Yes I gained some back, but am losing it again. Yes it is hard at first to get use to not eating as much, but you will learn to adjust. Remember this is not a cure, but a tool to use for weight loss.

I asked about it a year ago. They said that since I had the gastric, they will only do it that way, but they couldn't guarantee a large weight loss. I would still talk to your dr and see what they say. All drs are different.

You could call a neurosurgeon, but I have never heard of anyone doing that. But you don't know until you try.
