They recommend not to eat Chocolate, pasta, and bread. Do you have a dr in your area who does it. If so call them and they will send you information. Also you can go online and google lap band surgery or gastric bypass surgery. That way you can get updated information. Yes I did have some adverse reactions. I gained weight back, but now realize my mistake....

I love my pool therapy and in time you will definitely enjoy yours. I look at it this way "God only giives you what you can handle" and right now I feel like right now I can conquer the world. Good Luck and God Bless, Bar...

She should rest it as much as possible. Put it up on a pillow to keep the blood flow going. She may need physical therapy to strength her ankle. Good Luck and God Bless Barb

In a heart beat. I had Gastic Bypass in 1981 and went from 317 to 170. Yes I gained some back, but am losing it again. Yes it is hard at first to get use to not eating as much, but you will learn to adjust. Remember this is not a cure, but a tool to use for weight loss. Good Luck Barb

I asked about it a year ago. They said that since I had the gastric, they will only do it that way, but they couldn't guarantee a large weight loss. I would still talk to your dr and see what they say. All drs are different. Barb

You could call a neurosurgeon, but I have never heard of anyone doing that. But you don't know until you try.
